Refund policy
Returns & Refund Policy
- - Due to the tedious, handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide any refunds or returns for custom orders unless one of the following 2 conditions apply. A full refund will be issued only in these 2 cases:
- 1- We failed to prepare or deliver your order for none force majeure reasons.
- 2- The product got damaged due to a none force majeure, partially or fully, while in transit using our delivery service.
- - Once your product is picked, or, delivered and received, it is considered “Accepted".
All custom orders are handcrafted, made-to-order and perishable. Each product is hand-made and some design variation should be expected. We ask that you closely inspect your order during pickup or delivery. You are solely responsible for any damage to the items thereafter. Custom cakes and treats are very fragile and damage can happen if not handled properly during transportation & setup. Damage may also happen due to exposure to excessive heat & humidity, which may result in the appearance of cracks, smudges, melted frosting, colors changes and other structural & cosmetic issues. We cannot be held liable for any damage when the items are in your possession. Furthermore, due to the highly subjective nature of taste, we are unable to offer any refund if you find the taste unsatisfactory.
Order Cancellation:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund of payments made, minus a 1.5% or 3$ fee (whichever is higher)
- Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days prior to event will receive 75% of payments made.
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund of payments made, minus a 1.5% or 3$ fee (whichever is higher)
- Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days prior to event will receive 75% of payments made.
General Policies:
- Colors can be matched the best of our ability only when we are provided with a swatch. Exact matching is still not guaranteed, and no refund of any kind will be made related to color mismatch. Please remember we are dealing with edible colors and sugar, not with oil paint and canvas.
- Gaby's Delights is not responsible for delivery problems associated with force majeure such as natural disasters or other weather conditions.
- Gaby's Delights reserves the right to refuse delivery during unpredictable bad weather conditions. You will be given the option to pickup your order if required.
- Gaby's Delights is not responsible for temperature problems that may arise at your venue causing problems with our products such as: melted icing, wilted flowers, collapsed tiers, or anything that happens after delivery or pickup.
